About

Marketing is not “reach” and “engagement”. It is a tool for managing profit.

I build commercial systems, from brand positioning to the e‑commerce P&L. For the last 11 years I have worked where marketing, sales, and analytics meet, in D2C and e-commerce. I have run turnover above 1 billion rubles, taken brands to the top of their categories on Wildberries, and built the analytics from scratch.

I think in unit economics, I work with the data, and I make decisions that show up in profit, not only in turnover or reach.

"A Korolev, not a Rogozin" © "We are looking for a Korolev, not a Rogozin." I agree: "effective managers" with no expertise are of no use to a business. Where I disagree is the demand that this person replace anyone on the team and do their work ten times faster. Read → What is a content factory? I decided to find out Almost every meeting now gets to influence marketing and content factories. After all of them I concluded that people mean very different things by "content factory", and they run influence in very different ways. Their own stores still did not take off. Read → The Zeno effect in business. Watching stops development One night, digging through quantum mechanics, I hit the Zeno effect.
